It has to be admitted that 5 flights is not many but it’s the most we’ve managed on a November day so far. It was a day for picking your moment as the weather was somewhat changeable and the wind quite lively. Cloudbase varied between too low to bother launching to about 1,100′. At one point we did see some blue and one launch managed 1,700 in a gap.
Some more of the boundary to the right of the clubhouse got reduced to a better height and pile of “trimmings” grew – should make a good thermal generator one day when we are launching from the south end. Stan provided Danish pastries for afternoon tea (donuts were there as usual for morning coffee)
