Wednesday 4th November

How different November is turning out to be compared with October.  Not as wet as we’d expected but with that cloud base only the kites were soaring (they are the 2 grey smudges in the cover photo’).  Maybe no flying but there was a hive of activity.  I kept away from the vehicle maintenance/fixing (I am more of a liability than help in things mechanical) and kept myself amused with a little light trimming of the hedge on the approach.
