Saturday began with a strong NW that died down to a pesky medium westerly. If you got above 2000ft conditions were pretty good: getting there was tricky.
Lots of private gliders out, 737 and 383 flying Radstock, Didcot, 185 and EFF heading NW. Steve flew HZD and discovered a new place to land but Trevor and Darren soon had him home.
Rod rigged the Swales and gave me the pleasure of a flight – its true what they say about the clunks!
Thanks to Ken P for helping out with a trial lesson and a half day course and to Bob for finishing off the instructing.
Sunday – errr was a scrub, you were expecting something else???
