Due to other commitments I did not arrive on site until around 11.30.The field had been set up and the Puchasz was sitting by the caravan along with a complement of seven other members including the duty instructor Pete S.The only problem was it was raining due to a line of showers being blown along west to east in a strong westerly wind and cloudbase was below 1000ft.With no sign of an imminent improvement in the weather the D.I. took the decision to scrub. The lads and girls rallied round and the equipment and aircraft were put to bed and we went our different ways.By 13.30 the sun was shining, cloudbase had gone up and it looked very soarable. This is a classic case of Sods Law I guess
